Submission Policy

When author(s) submit an article to IJBEST journal, it is implied that the work described has not been published previously in any journal and the article is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The research work to be submitted along with plagiarism report. The permitted limit of plagiarism for a research paper is 5%. However, from one resource, there should not be more than 2% plagiarism.

The submitted work will go through the peer-review for verification about the ethnicity and originality of the manuscript. While a manuscript is submitted, the same should not be submitted elsewhere.

Your submission will initially be assessed by our editors to determine suitability for publication in this journal. If your submission is deemed suitable, it will typically be sent to a minimum of two reviewers for an independent expert assessment of the research quality. The decision as to whether your article is accepted or rejected will be taken by our editors.

To verify compliance/authenticity of your research work with our journal policies, we may check your manuscript with our screening tools.

If accepted, the article will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically, without the written consent of the copyright- holder.

Our editors are not involved in making decisions about papers which:
1. they have written themselves.
2. have been written by family members or colleagues.
Any such submissions will be subject to the journal's usual procedures and peer review will be handled independently of the editor involved and their research group.

Regarding jurisdictional assertions in published maps and institutional affiliations, the author(s) will solely be responsible.

Submit a documented statement of consent from all the author(s)/Co-authors who are quoted in the manuscript.

Authorship

An author is an individual who has significantly contributed to the development of a manuscript. IJBEST recommends that authorship be based on the following four criteria:

Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;

Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content;

Final approval of the version to be submitted;

A consent to take responsibility for every facet of the work, including making sure that any concerns about the integrity or correctness of any portion of it are suitably looked into and addressed.

Changes in authorship

The authorship list and author order should be carefully considered by the writers, and a definite author list should be provided at the time of initial submission.

The policy of this journal around authorship changes comprises that:

all authors must be listed in the manuscript.

only before approval and with the journal editor's permission should author names be added, removed, or rearranged in the authorship list.

all authors, including those being added or deleted, must provide written confirmation that they agree with the addition, removal, or rearrangement. The corresponding author should submit the request to the journal editor along with the explanation for the change.

Acknowledgement

Individuals who participated in the development of a manuscript but do not qualify as an author should be acknowledged. Organizations that provided support in terms of funding and/or other resources should also be acknowledged.

Declaration of Generative AI in Scholarly Writing:

When submitting their work, authors are required to disclose the usage of generative AI in academic writing. Only the writing process is covered in the following guidelines:

Since authorship entails responsibilities and tasks that may only be attributed to and carried out by humans, authors are not permitted to list or acknowledge AI and AI- assisted technologies as authors or co-authors on the publication.

The AI may produce authoritative-sounding output that may be inaccurate, partial, or prejudiced, the technology must be used with human monitoring and control, and authors should carefully review and revise the results. In the end, authors bear accountability and responsibility for the information contained in their works.

AI-assisted technologies and generative AI may only be utilized throughout the writing process to enhance the manuscript's language and readability.

When a paper is initially submitted, it must include a declaration at the conclusion of the manuscript stating that generative AI and AI-assisted technologies are being used in scholarly writing. The sentence should go in a new section before the references list because it will be in the published work.

Peer Review Process

In the double-blind peer review process used by the International Journal of Business, Engineering, Science & Technology meaning that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. It will take 6 to 9 weeks to complete the reviews, though this may change depending on the reviewers availability. Even if an article is not deemed appropriate for publishing in the journal, reviewers are still invited to provide formative feedback. The chief editor along with Associated editors of the journal are in charge of all editorial decisions.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to retain copyright and grant the journal (IJBEST) right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.

The Journal policies may revise in the future with recommendation of the majority members of editorial board.
